A PARIS 12-BORE BOXLOCK EJECTOR, serial no. 21, circa 1915, serial number on barrel loop only, 28in. replacement nitro reproved barrels (replaced in 1971, reproved in 2007), 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 and full choke, sideclipped treble-grip action, fences carved with oak leaf and acorn motifs on a stippled background, manual safety with gold-inlaid 'SUR' detail, intercepting sears, border and acanthus scroll engraving, the triggerguard with initials (possibly 'CG') interwined in gold, 14in. pistolgrip stock including buttplate, weight 6lb. 11oz.
